Shuttle Atlantis is performing well on orbit. Routine post-flight inspection
of the STS-98 solid rocket boosters (SRB) began this morning. Preliminary
reports indicate that both boosters are in good condition. SRB open
assessment will continue through next week.

Shuttle Processing Note

Space Shuttle Discovery rolled out of Vehicle Assembly Building high bay 1
today at 7:10 a.m. and was hard down on the pad surface at 1:35 p.m. Launch
pad validations are in work through Tuesday night. The seven-member flight
crew arrives this week to participate in Terminal Countdown Demonstration
Test activities including a launch day dress rehearsal on Thursday. The MPLM
payload, “Leonardo,” is scheduled to arrive at the pad Feb. 23 for
installation into Discovery’s payload bay.

Shuttle Processing Note

Endeavour’s fuel cell voltage test is complete. The left-hand orbital
maneuvering system pod is installed, and workers today are verifying the
Shuttle’s robot arm. Technicians will service Endeavour’s freon coolant
system No. 1 this week. Tonight, work begins to install the Shuttle’s three
main engines.
