Space Product Development Weekly Highlights – July 7, 2002
National Space and Missiles Materials Symposium: The Center for Commercial Applications of Combustion in Space (CCACS), a Commercial Space Center located at the Colorado School of Mines, participated in the National Space and Missiles Materials Symposium last week in Colorado Springs. Director Frank Schowengerdt presented a paper titled "Space-DRUMS: Containerless Processing on the International Space Station", and Principal Investigator John Moore presented a poster titled "The Effects of Gravity on Combustion Synthesis of Engineered Porous Materials." CCACS also had a display in the exhibit hall at the symposium.
