Space Product Development Weekly Highlights – August 23, 2002

Solidification Design Center (SDC) Foundry Education Foundation (FEF): Auburn University was approved for membership in the Foundry Education Foundation (FEF) of Des Plaines, IL. FEF is a non-profit, industry-supported group dedicated to foundry-related, baccalaureate-level education of engineers and provides scholarships to undergraduate students interested in careers related to metal casting. Some of the 32 schools that participated in the FEF program include MIT, University of Michigan, Case Western Reserve University, and Purdue University.
