Description

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) plans to release a Draft Request For Proposals for the Space Mission Communications and Data Services (SMCDS) solicitation on or about March 7, 2003. Individual work package site visits are scheduled shortly after release of the Draft RFP. Specific instructions and detailed information for each work package site visit will be posted soon after this notice at the following web site: http://foundation.hq.nasa.gov/newsinfo/contracts/smcds.html Interested offerors are encouraged to review the detailed site visit information immediately. Those offerors who plan to attend the site visit(s) should contact the appropriate work package point(s) of contact as soon as possible to coordinate your attendance. The potential attendance of foreign nationals/representatives within the site visit schedule requires significant lead time notifications, and will not be available at all sites. The SMCDS solicitation will succeed the current NASA Consolidated Space Operations Contract (CSOC) and the MSFC PrISMS Contract, which expire in December 2003.
