Space Life Sciences Training Program 2021 Kicks off at Ames Research Center
The 2021 SLSTP cohort of students officially began their summer program on June 7. Eleven students from universities around the US are participating for the second year on a virtual platform. Kickoff of the program began on Monday morning with introductions to the SLSTP management team and the Ames Space Biology management team followed by a Q&A session.
Students will be preparing individual projects working with their NASA mentors, as well as working together on a group project. They’ll wrap up the summer program by presenting their projects to the Ames community.
