The ESA/NASA SOHO Project Scientist Team announces the availability of
the second generation SOHO science data archive, hosted at NASA’s Solar
Data Analysis Center (SDAC) located at Goddard Space Flight Center
(GSFC). It is accessible through the SOHO web sites at:

http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/data/ and
http://sohowww.estec.esa.nl/data/

As of October 2000, this facility contains over 600,000 files and 800GB
of science processed data provided by the Principal Investigator teams
of the SOHO mission. The interface to the archive, developed in Java
at IAS/MEDOC, runs on later versions of the major web browsers.
Multi-instrument searches are supported and data files can be retrieved
using a web browser as well.

Two copies of this archive are accessible in Europe, one at the
Institut d’Astrophysique Spatiale, France
(http://www.medoc-ias.u-psud.fr/archive/), and one at the Rutherford
Appleton Laboratory, UK (http://trace.solararchive.rl.ac.uk/soho/).
