SOHO Weekly Meeting Minutes Week 13, 25-31 March 2002
1. Announcements
—————-
* Major work will be taking place on the power distribution
system at RAL over this coming weekend (March 23 & 24)
Thus many services including the CDS computers will be unavailable
from Friday 15:00UT thro to Monday 09:00UT.* New MEDOC9 dates are May 22 to June 5.
* No changes in DSN schedule from TDRS should happen after the weekend
* The Soho EOF/EAF secondary router is going to be unavailable at
times over the next couple of months. During this time, all
computers on the EOF/EAF network should be configured to use the
primary router. Paul Doupont has monitored network traffic in an
attempt to identify any computers which were using the secondary
router and they should have now been switched to the primary
router. During this two month period Paul will be working on the
secondary router in preparation for the long anticipated 100megabit
upgrade. This work will occur during normal work hours. Except for
brief periods the secondary router will be available for use in
case of failure of the primary router. Please refer any questions
or concerns to Paul Doupont.* PMI contractors are scheduled to perform preventive maintenance
on the UPS-20 system on March 29 from 9AM until 4:30PM. The UPS system
will be in bypass and the load will be on commercial power during this
activity. No impact to operations is expected. 3-UPS-20 supports SOHO,
W/P, and XTE missions.2. Operations Constraints
