INSTRUMENT STATUS
—————–
CDS: Nominal. JOP137/104 continues on AR9901/9893. Tomorrow:
same but also engineering studies.

SUMER: Nominal. JOP137/1Compontinues on AR9901/9893.

UVCS: Nominal. 24-hour synoptic. Tomorrow: JOP155 and
mini-synoptic.

LASCO: Nominal. C2/C3 synoptics.

EIT: Nominal. Half-resolution 195 CME watch and synoptics.
JOP155 support begins tmorrow with subfields in north.

MDI: Nominal. Full disk magnetograms and dopplergrams for
continuous contact, supporting Sac Peak campaign.

CEPAC: Nominal. Observations near solar maximum as opposed to solar
minimum has shown that high-energy particles are accelerated
both by flares and CME shock fronts, and the two signatures
are often mixed. Also, in flares, electrons seem to be
accelerated a little earlier than protons.

TRACE: Nominal. Today we continue support in high-cadence 195
for RHESSI, JOPs 104/137 and observations at Sac Peak (AR 9907).
