ANNOUNCEMENTS

* We will switch back to the new and improved primary router at
10am local time tomorrow. Paul will be talking to all the
local system admins today about what to do.

* RHESSI target for today is AR 9934; target for tomorrow
is AR 9934.

* JOP104 target for today is AR 9934; target for tomorrow
is probably the same.

* The House Appropriations Committee staffers’ visit has been
postponed.

* Solar Science Seminar Wednesday May 15, 3:30 in bldg. 26, room G-10:
Doug Biesecker on “EIT waves – A Review: Everything we think we know”.

* Come celebrate the success of RHESSI, the first satellite named
for a Goddard scientist! Please join us at the Friday, May 17,
Scientific Colloquium, in the Goddard Building 8 Auditorium,
starting at 3:30 pm, for the following activities:
. Presentation to Mrs. Ramaty
. Colloquium by V. Ramanathan, “Aerosols and Climate – A Hazy
Future for the Blue Planet?”
. Reception for Mrs. Ramaty, the RHESSI Team, and Prof. Ramanathan
Coffee and tea will be served at 3:00 pm, courtesy of GEWA.

Ground Anomalies:
131/1617 D27 antenna went to brake. Lost 8 minutes 53
seconds of unrecoverable TLM and 11 minutes of
command ability.
131/1658 Received degraded TLM on D27 from 1658 to 2026,
cause unknown. Any lost data is unrecoverable.
132/1326 Received degraded TLM on D27 from 1326 to 0031,
cause unknown. Any lost data is unrecoverable.

EIT: Nominal. Half-resolution 195 CME watch and synoptic. Supporting
coronal magnetometry study tomorrow.

MDI: Nominal. Full disk magnetograms and dopplergrams for continuous
contact.

TRACE: Nominal. Continue observing AR9934 in 195A in support of RHESSI
and JOP104.
