The Australian Space Research Institute Ltd (ASRI) will conduct the October 2000 Small Sounding Rocket Program launch campaign at Launch Area 9 on the Woomera Rocket Range, South Australia, on 30 September and 1 October.

The campaign will involve the launch of several Sighter and Zuni sounding rockets and will include the launch of the winning payload in the Kistler Space Endeavor competition atop a Zuni rocket.

ASRI invites the media and the general public to attend the October 2000 launch campaign; however, those wishing to attend must register with ASRI at least 3 days prior in order to gain permission to enter the Woomera Prohibited Area. Attendance at the launch campaign is free.
