ROA 2007 Amendment 6 released

Amendment 6 to the NASA ARMD Research Opportunities in Aeronautics (ROA) 2007 NRA has been posted. This amendment includes new topics for Appendix A.3 (Subsonic Rotary Wing Project). In this latest amendment, the Subsonic Rotary Wing Project seeks to encourage proposals that advance the state-of-the-art in engine compressor technology, transmission noise modeling, low-frequency noise effects, and rotorcraft icing methodology.

Please note that on 2/15/08 ARMD released a synopsis for the upcoming Research Opportunities in Aeronautics (ROA) 2008 NRA. This is just an advance notice, and ROA-2008 is not yet posted. We expect that this solicitation will be ready during the first week of March or sometime soon after that.

Coincidentally, ROSES-2008 from the Science Mission Directorate was also released on 2/15/08. The funding opportunity numbers for all three of these solicitations (ROA 2007, ROA 2008, and ROSES 2008) may be somewhat similar. Please take care to ensure you are referencing the correct solicitation.
