Results of First Stage Captive Firing Test Conducted as Part of the Standard Tyoe H-IIA Launch Vehicle Ground Test Vehicle/Ground Systems Tests (GTV-1

The National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) conducted First
Stage Captive Firing Test as part of the GTV-1 Tests at the H-II Launch
Complex, Tanegashima Space Center on Tuesday, June 20, 2000, with data
being successfully obtained according to plan.

Time of ignition: 18:25

Burn time: 10sec (10seconds)

Firing pressure: 12.36MPa (12.28MPa)

Provided no problems arise with the post-test inspection and data
evaluation for the current test, the next GTV-1 First Stage Captive
Firing Test will be conducted on Saturday, July 1.
