Postdoctoral Research Opportunity at NASA Kennedy Space Center: Veggie and Advanced Plant Habitat Hardware
We are happy to announce that we have a new postdoctoral research opportunity open at Kennedy Space Center for preflight testing to support the Veggie and Advanced Plant Habitat hardware for the International Space Station.
Details of the announcement are here: https://www3.orau.gov/NPDoc/Catalog
And information on the NASA Postdoctoral Program application process is here:
http://nasa.orau.org/postdoc/application/index.htm
Please explore the website further to find out information about eligibility and answers to FAQs. Having been through this program I can thoroughly recommend it. The next deadline for application is March 1, and we hope to fill this position based on that round of responses.
During the development of the research proposal section of the application, applicants are encouraged to contact the mentors listed on the announcement (Dr. Ray Wheeler and I) to discuss their ideas. Please also feel free to ask us questions about the program and the work on controlled environment agriculture being done at KSC.
Please feel free to pass this on to other interested folks.
