PIONEERING: Sustaining U.S. Leadership in Space Rollout

The Space Foundation will release PIONEERING: Sustaining U.S. Leadership in Space, a report containing recommendations for redefining and restructuring the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and strengthening the U.S. civil space program. Space Foundation Chief Executive Officer Elliot Pulham will conduct a briefing and Q&A on the report, which is based on in-depth historical research and interviews with nearly 100 space leaders. He will discuss broad-ranging structural, policy and management recommendations to address issues within the agency and its governance and funding.
Copies of both the 70-page report and a separate executive summary will be distributed at the briefing. PIONEERING: Sustaining U.S. Leadership in Space will also be distributed to policymakers and industry leaders.
