SUBJECT: OSF Key Personnel Announcement


Effective January 26, 2003, Mr. Mark L. Uhran will assume the position of Senior Systems Integration Manager for the
International Space Station, Office of Space Flight, NASA Headquarters. Prior to this appointment, he served as Director,
Mission Integration and Space Product Development in the Office of Biological and Physical Research, NASA Headquarters.


Mr. Uhran has an excellent background for the role of ISS Senior Systems Integration Manager. He is a recognized expert on
the planned International Space Station utilization program and the multinational management approach not only in the
United States, but in Canada, Europe, Japan and Russia as well. His responsibilities have included leading the effort for
economic development of the International Space Station and serving as a NASA Headquarters liaison to White House and
congressional staff offices, external advisory boards and committees, foreign space agencies, and aerospace industry
executives on subjects related to practical applications of orbital space stations.
