Orbital’s Cygnus spacecraft, the S.S. Janice Voss, continues its voyage to the International Space Station, expecting an on-time arrival early tomorrow morning.  Delta velocity maneuvers one (DV1) through seven (DV7) have been completed along with a plane maneuver required to position the spacecraft for capture.

The spacecraft’s capture point arrival time is planned for 6:29 a.m. EDT with capture expected to occur at 6:39 a.m. EDT.  Orbital’s Antares rocket successfully launched the Cygnus spacecraft on the Orb-2 space station cargo resupply mission on July 13, 2014. The Cygnus spacecraft is carrying 1,664 kg (3,669 pounds) of supplies for the station including research investigations, crew provisions, hardware, and science experiments from across the country.

NASA Television coverage of the Cygnus capture begins at 5:15 a.m. EDT tomorrow and can be viewed at http://www.nasa.gov/ntv.
