On 28 October 2002, the Belgian ESA astronaut Frank De Winne will lift off for an 11-day space mission to visit the International Space Station. This mission, callede Odissea and sponsored by the Belgian government, will be covered extensively by the ESA TV Service. Today’s transmission provides an overview of the scientific content of the mission, and of the objectives of the taxi-flight to the ISS.

The programme comprises of a 5-minute A-roll with split track and English commentary and is complemented by a B-Roll with clean international sound.The script is available on-line as a PDF document under http://television.esa.int/photos/EbS26597.pdf
