and 0620Z.

At 0833Z on Thursday, October 12, GOES-8 frame breaks were observed
and attributed to loss of signal sync.

GOES-10 (West) Operations:

The GOES-10 fall eclipse season occurs daily between 0830-0901Z and
continues through October 16th.  GOES-10 images cancelled for KOZ/Eclipse:

At 1300Z on Thursday, October 12, a GOES-10 frame break was observed
and attributed to high Cyclic Redunancy Check (CRC) errors.

At 1352Z, 1437Z, and 1507Z on Thursday, October 12, multiple GOES-10
frame breaks were observed and attributed to low grade BER (unknown cause).

At 2051Z and 2254Z on Thursday, October 12, GOES-10 frame breaks were
observed and attributed to RFI at the CDA unknown source).

By Monday, October 16, WCDA and SOCC personnel will move the GOES-10
support to a different, higher performance antenna.  Frame breaks
on GOES-10 should decrease at that time.
