SPACE WEATHER ADVISORY OUTLOOK #03- 29

Summary For July 14-20

Space weather has reached moderate levels. A category G2 (moderate)
geomagnetic storm occurred on July 16 due to high speed solar winds
from a coronal hole on the sun. High speed coronal hole flow also
produced G1 (minor) geomagnetic storm levels on the 15th, 17th, 19th,
and 20th. Even though a number of moderately complex sunspot groups
were active on the visible sun, none produced any significant radio
blackouts or solar radiation storms.

Outlook For July 23-29

Space weather is expected to be at minor levels. The geomagnetic field
is expected to reach category G1 geomagnetic storming on 28 – 29 July
due to coronal holes and their associated high speed solar wind. An
isolated category R1 (minor) radio blackout is possible.
