**** SPACE WEATHER OUTLOOK ****
Summary For September 2-8
Space weather reached strong levels. A category G3 (strong) geomagnetic
storm occurred on September 7th and a category G2 (moderate)
geomagnetic storm occurred on September 4th. Category R1 (minor) radio
blackouts occurred on September 3rd and again on September 5th due to
eruptive solar flares on the surface of the sun. For a list of adverse

Outlook For September 11-17
Space weather is expected to reach the minor levels. Category R1
(minor) radio blackouts are possible. There is a slight chance of a
category R2 (moderate) radio blackout occurring due to a large and
complex sunspot, known to NOAA Space Environment Forecasters as Sunspot
Region 105.
