SATOPS MORNING REPORT February 8, 2001

Senior Duty Meteorologist advised at 2130z on February 6 that a Critical
Weather Days have been declared for 1200z February 7 until 1200z February
10.

POES

No change in the status of the POES spacecraft.

NOAA-15 rev 14235 / W at 1307z on February 7: Uplinked commands to turn
off the HIRS filter housing heater.

NOAA-14 rev 31483 / F at 1403z on February 7: L3A noisy from spacecraft
with 97.5% of the expected data transferred to CEMSCS. Another recovery
attempt will not be possible due to spacecraft recorder management constraints.

NOAA-15 rev 14239 / F at 1943z on February 7: G5A noisy from spacecraft
with 85.4% of the expected data transferred to CEMSCS.  100% of G5A
recovered on rev 14241.

 

DMSP

No change in the status of the DMSP spacecraft.

DMSP operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.

 

GOES

No change in the status of the GOES spacecraft.

GOES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
