SATOPS MORNING REPORT – January 12, 2001

POES

Overnight voice communication from WCDA was unintelligible via the usual
voice circuit.  Commercial land line and cellular service were available.

No change in the status of the POES spacecraft.

 

DMSP

No change in the status of the DMSP spacecraft.

OPS43 rev 10070 with POGO/B failed at 0448Z, CAPS did not receive telemetry
after the prescribed change in data rate.  Add-up pass at FAIR was
used to accomplish mission objectives

 

GOES

No change in the status of the GOES spacecraft.

GOES East:  Nominal operations over the past 24 hours.

GOES West:  Rapid scan operations until 0300Z, supporting NWS Monterey
request, southern California flash flood threat.
