SATOPS Morning Report: Wednesday, May 16, 2012

Customers or users who want to call to ask about problems or report outages can use the following contacts:

DOY 137

GOES
GOES-12 DOY136 intermittent Imager instrument cycle slips from 10:01z to 10:39z.

All other GOES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery via GVAR or s/c health & safety.

DMSP
OPS48 DOY136 16:22z s/c in basic attitude mode. Recovery activities ongoing.

OPS51 DOY136 18:18 CAT1 data loss of 6054 spacecraft seconds indirectly due to resources being redirected to address an OPS48 s/c problem.

All DMSP operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.

JASON-2
All JASON-2 operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.

ESPC Reported data outage and delays
GINI East and West AWIPS Images missed May 15, 2012 from 1245 -1400z, the cause of the GINI outage was due to network configuration changes at NCF which affected the ANCF connection with the NSOF GINI systems, causing the loss in data.
