Customers or users who want to call to ask about problems or report outages can use the following contacts:

– For questions about data quality (noisy data, dropouts, schedules), GOES or POES products, or status of spacecraft can call the SAB Shift Supervisor at 301-763-8444

– To report an outage or document a problem, call the ESPC Operations Crew Lead at 301-457-5218. All LRIT data users are encouraged to report problems to: LRIT@noaa.gov

DOY 021

NOTE: Due to a NSOF fire alarm on DOY 017 at 22:00Z SOCC failed over to GOES & POES back-up facilities as well as activating PEAK for taking DMSP operations. The cause of alarm activation was determined to be a burst water drain line in the garage. SOCC personnel were permitted to re-enter approximately 20 minutes later and operations were transfered back to SOCC.

GOES

All GOES operations were nominal over the past 96 hours. No anomalies affecting product delivery or s/c health & safety. For GOES status and other information please see: http://www.oso.noaa.gov/goes

POES

JASON-2

DOY 018 Jason-2 recorder dumps scheduled for 16:16Z and 18:08Z unsuccessful due to ground station problems at Usingen. All data recovered on 20:04Z scheduled support.

All other JASON-2 operations were nominal over the past 96 hours. No anomalies affecting product delivery or s/c health & safety.
