SATOPS Morning Report: Tuesday, September 25, 2012

Customers or users who want to call to ask about problems or report outages can use the following contacts:
– For questions about data quality (noisy data, dropouts, schedules), GOES or POES products, or status of spacecraft can call the SAB Shift Supervisor at 301-763-8444
– To report an outage or document a problem, call the ESPC Operations Crew Lead at 301-457-5218. All LRIT data users are encouraged to report problems to: LRIT@noaa.gov

DOY 269

GOES
GOES-15 terminated full disk imaging and returned to the routine West schedule with the 1859z frame start.

GOES-14 began routine GOES-East Schedules at 17:45 UTC.

GOES-13 remains in an Earth pointing nominal attitude with the Imager and Sounder in Standby modes while the anomaly which occurred on September 23rd is being investigated.

All other GOES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery via GVAR or s/c health & safety.

POES

ESPC Reported data outage and delays
ESPC did not receive the 1530z GOES-west full disk image due to a NSOF antenna problem.

ESPC did not receive the GOES-West 18:00z full disk image due to a SOCC scheduling problem.
