POES
NOAA-16 Rev 26235 at Fairbanks at 1748Z on Oct 24: Received telemetry miscompares from the satellite and the engineers were notified to verify. SOCC control center personnel noted an gyro problem on NOAA-16. At 2245Z, OSO engineers turned off gyro 1. The spacecraft attitude is stable and all other subsystems are nominal. Engineers will continue their investigation.
N-16 26240/F 0210Z: 96.4% of G1A was recovered due to position of DTR 1A. It goes back into record prior to the next available pass and will not be recoverable.
POES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.

GOES
GOES 9 at 0216Z on Oct 25: Received SPS 7 GVAR error message and CDA failed over to SPS 6. SOCC rebooted remotely the server at 0625z and images started to appear again on RPM at 0625z. Loss the following images: 0413z Full Disk, 0424 N. Sounding, 0449 Full Disk, 0525z Full Disk, 0526z N. Sounding, and 0621z Full Disk. Engineers investigating.
