GOES
GOES-11 J135 22:30Z Return to normal ops maneuver began
GOES-11 J136 00:59Z Sensor Data transmitter side A did not turn on during scripted commanding. This transmitter is a communications box which formats and transmits the raw instrument data to the ground.
GOES-11 J136 014:5Z Investigation revealed commands to turn on transmitter A executed on-board. The status of Sensor Data xmtr changed to on for around 30 seconds and then turned off by itself. The power of the SD xmtr A indicated a small initial increase, gradual decrease, and a spike before it dropped back to zero. A second attempt to turn on the transmitter was made at 0150z but was unsuccessful. No further initialization attempts were made. There is a 2:00PM anomaly meeting today(Tuesday) with SSL and NASA to review the engineering data and discuss the next steps. (There is a backup Sensor Data transmitter.) All other GOES11 systems are nominal.
All other GOES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours. No anomalies affecting product delivery or s/c health & safety.
