DMSP

OPS 48 Rev 42606 R+06 at BOSS-D at 10:57z on July 6: Site experienced problems setting up short turnaround and did not record first part of playback CAT-3 1072 S/C 26.8 P/B seconds lost. ADO notified via voicemail 1239Z.

All DMSP operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.

POES

NOAA-16 AVHRR is now showing bar codes on a regular manner AVHRR scan motor current continues to have a slow increase value for the 12th week in a row. It is is now operating within the threshold where bar coded imagery appears. Bar codes started to appear on HRPT, GAC and LAC images starting on 29 June and, with each passing day, have become more prevalent. At the present time almost all NOAA-16 AVHRR images contain at least partial bar codes on them and in many cases it is continuous.

All POES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
