POES
NOAA-16 Rev 25732 at Fairbanks at 0225Z on Sept 19: G4A loss due to high speed record problem on IMUX at CDA. DTR management makes G4A not recoverable.

1733Z on Sept 17: Routine schedule terminated and full disk schedule started to cover for GOES 12 problem.
1858Z on Sept 17: Full disk schedule terminated and routine schedule started.
GOES 12
1530Z on Sept 17: Crews noticed roll error increasing beyond nominal and called engineering personnel to troubleshoot. Crews directed by engineers to proceed with a nominal load shed at 1552z as contingency until it can be determined what caused the problem. Engineers determined problem was a missing schedule related to a recent lunar intrusion and recovery operations began at 1625z. Spacecraft was stabilized at 1815z and reset to normal operations. Missed 1 full disk, 15 partial images, and 3 soundings. Rapid scan started at 2026z and spacecraft fully operational. Investigation into scheduling problem continuing.
