SATOPS Morning Report: Monday, March 26, 2012

Customers or users who want to call to ask about problems or report outages can use the following contacts:
– For questions about data quality (noisy data, dropouts, schedules), GOES or POES products, or status of spacecraft can call the SAB Shift Supervisor at 301-763-8444

DOY 086

GOES
GOES-15 DOY83 anomaly recovery activities:
14:00z West DCS, LRIT & EMWIN services were restored and SAR receiver returned to service.
17:22z Imaging and Sounding operations restored. 17:22z SHEMI is the first image since the anomaly on DOY81 at 20:45z.

All other GOES operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery via GVAR or s/c health & safety.

POES
All POES operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery or s/c health & safety.

DMSP

JASON-2
All JASON-2 operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery or s/c health & safety.

ESPC Reported data outage and delays
Due to the GOES-15 s/c anomaly that occurred on DOY81 the following products were missed: MSPS/SFOV on GP67 stopped updating on the east
AT 2120Z and on the west at 2101Z. LCB/ASH, VOLCANO WEST PAVOLCIR and WNHVOLCIR. IMAGER ASOS on both GESTATS and the hourly. NOAA Geostationary webpage west HD WINDS ON GP5: CSBT WEST, GOES-WEST PRIMARY AND BACKUP SOUNDER, PRIMARY AND BACKUP REMAP LOG and ABBA WEST. Note all GOES-15 operations resumed on DOY83. During the anomaly, GOES-13 imaging operations were in full disk mode.
