SATOPS Morning Report: Monday, January 28, 2013

Customers or users who want to call to ask about problems or report outages can use the following contacts:
– For questions about data quality (noisy data, dropouts, schedules), GOES or POES products, or status of spacecraft can call the SAB Shift Supervisor at 301-763-8444

DOY 028

GOES
All GOES operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery via GVAR or s/c health & safety.

All POES operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery or s/c health & safety.

DMSP
All DMSP operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.

JASON-2
All JASON-2 operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery or s/c health & safety.

ESPC Reported data outage and delays
DOY 025-026: DMSP/SSMI/S (Special Sensor Microwave Image/Sounder) F-17 Rev 32127, 32128, 32129, 32130 and F-18 Rev 16876, 16877, 16878, and 16879 from McMurdo were lost due to testing at AFWA. Monterey reports that the following orbits 16859, 16860 and 16861from FNMOC (Fleet Numerical Meteorological and Oceanographic Center) were lost due to testing at AFWA.

DOY 026: The (GOES-15) GOES West images for AKNATL, HAWNATL, NHEMI, SUPERN 0030Z were not available. Under investigation.

DOY 028: 0845Z ESPC experienced a GOES East and West LRIT outage. The problem was identified and fixed; LRIT was back up at 0957Z.
