DAY 241

DMSP

OPS 47 Rev 53819 R12 at Pogo-C at 2100z on August 27: Cat 1 data loss due to incorrect times being briefed to AFWA after change from Fairbanks to Pogo ground stations.

All DMSP operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.

POES

All POES operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.

GOES

GOES-10 on Aug 26 at 1510Z: T-1 Line at SOCC caused handover to Wallops CDA until problem resolved with Verizon. CDA lost tlm and schedule stopped at 1542z. The following lost due to T-1/Comm problems: 1600z N Hemi, 1601 CONUS Sounding, 1615 PACUS, 1621 N Pacific Winds Sounding, 1630z N Hemi. Outage attributed to Comm7 crash caused by network traffic problems bringing T-1 lines back up.

GOES-12 on Aug 26 at 1559z schedule suspended due to loss of telemetry. Loss 1602z CONUS, 1610z CONUS, 1615z NHEMI, 1630z SHEMI, 1632z CONUS, and 1620 Sounding. Outage attributed to Comm7 crash caused by network traffic problems bringing T-1 lines back up.. All GOES operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.
