SATOPS Morning Report: Monday, August 20, 2012

Customers or users who want to call to ask about problems or report outages can use the following contacts:
– For questions about data quality (noisy data, dropouts, schedules), GOES or POES products, or status of spacecraft can call the SAB Shift Supervisor at 301-763-8444

All GOES operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery via GVAR or s/c health & safety.

All POES operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery or s/c health & safety.

DMSP
OPS51 DOY233 05:37z CAT1 data loss 6255 S/C seconds due to a SOCC ground system problem.

All other DMSP operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery or s/c health & safety.

JASON-2
All JASON-2 operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery or s/c health & safety.

ESPC Reported data outage and delays
DOY231 the following GINI NPORT-6 West data images were missed due to a ESPC ground system problem: 1900, 1910, 1915, 1930,1940, 2040, 2045, and 2300z.

DOY230 the 200z GINI NPORT-6 West data image was missed due to a ESPC ground system problem.

Offutt/AFWA informed ESPC the 1/4 degree Snow Depth file from August 18, 2012 – 1500z to 2000z was lost and unrecoverable due to scheduled maintenance.
