SATOPS Morning Report: Monday, April 22, 2013

Customers or users who want to call to ask about problems or report outages can use the following contacts:
– For questions about data quality (noisy data, dropouts, schedules), GOES or POES products, or status of spacecraft can call the SAB Shift Supervisor at 301-763-8444

Yearly GOES/POES/DMSP COOP activities completed as scheduled at 0700 UTC on April 20, 2013.

GOES
All GOES operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery via GVAR or s/c health & safety.

All POES operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery or s/c health & safety.

JASON-2
DOY 109 (April 19) 15:49 UTC to 19:46 UTC (revs. 22597-22599) data were delayed due to ground system issues. Under investigation.
DOY 111 (April 21) 12:42 UTC to 16:36 UTC (revs. 22621-22623) data were delayed due to transfer issues with Usingen ground station. Issues have been resolved.

All other JASON-2 operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.
No other anomalies affecting product delivery or s/c health & safety.

SNPP
IDPS: AFWA and NESDIS EVCDU’S lost on contacts 188, 193, 203 and 204. Under investigation.

All Suomi NPP operations were nominal over the past 72 hours.

ESPC Reported data outage and delays
From April 14, 2013 2300 UTC to April 19, 2013 1835 UTC, ESPC did not receive EWA Beach data. The provider has resolved the problem.
From April 20, 2013 0000 UTC to 0500 UTC, ESPC did not receive MSG/Meteosat-10 data. The provider has resolved the problem.
