Customers or users who want to call to ask about problems or report outages can use the following contacts:

– For questions about data quality (noisy data, dropouts, schedules), GOES or POES products, or status of spacecraft can call the SAB Shift Supervisor at 301-763-8444

– To report an outage or document a problem, call the ESPC Operations Crew Lead at 301-457-5218. All LRIT data users are encouraged to report problems to: LRIT@noaa.gov

DOY 246

GOES
Three GOES-13 (EAST) images were missed on DOY 245 due to operational
issues: one N. hemisphere image (1615Z) and two CONUS images (1610Z and 1625Z).

All other GOES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery or s/c health & safety.

POES
NOTE: Due to the hurricane Earl high wind forecast in the Walllops area, the 13 Meter antennas which support POES were stowed on DOY 246. Three N-19 supports were moved to Svalbard and one to Fairbanks.
All N15 – N18 recorder data will be recovered at Fairbanks with the exception of small data gaps on N15 and N16:

All other POES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery or s/c health & safety.

All DMSP operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.

JASON-2
NOTE: Due to the Hurricane Earl high wind forecast in the Walllops area, the WCDA 13 Meter antennas that support Jason-2 were stowed on DOY 246. The two Jason-2 supports scheduled at WCDA between 04:00z and 23:00z were rescheduled to Fairbanks.

All other JASON-2 operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
