SATOPS Morning Report: Friday, August 31, 2012

Customers or users who want to call to ask about problems or report outages can use the following contacts:
– For questions about data quality (noisy data, dropouts, schedules), GOES or POES products, or status of spacecraft can call the SAB Shift Supervisor at 301-763-8444
– To report an outage or document a problem, call the ESPC Operations Crew Lead at 301-457-5218. All LRIT data users are encouraged to report problems to: LRIT@noaa.gov

DOY 244

GOES
All GOES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery via GVAR or s/c health & safety.

POES
Note: Due to an antenna problem at Svalbard the N19 blind GAC supports will need to be recovered at FCDA or WCDA until further notice. This will affect data latency.

N19 DOY244 03:54z GAC 1B data loss due to an antenna problem at Svalbard.

N19 DOY244 08:56z Svalbard support not taken due to an antenna problem. call up at FCDA: 10714 frames received out of 13800 expected.

All other POES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
No anomalies affecting product delivery or s/c health & safety.

ESPC Reported data outage and delays
Metop-A J243/2312Z data not being received due to ground anomaly at Eumetsat

Met 9 data missed due to ground issues at Eumetsat 0015z-0415z

The follow GOES-15 (west) RSO images were lost due to an ESPC problem:
2230Z (HAWNATL,AKREG, AKNATL, HAWNATL, HAWREG, WCONUS, NHEMI and SUPERN).; 2310Z WCONUS; 2315Z ((HAWNATL,AKREG, AKNATL, HAWNATL, HAWREG, WCONUS), 2330Z ((HAWNATL,AKREG, AKNATL, HAWNATL, HAWREG, WCONUS, NHEMI and SUPERN); 2340Z WCONUS and 2345Z (HAWNATL,AKREG, AKNATL, HAWNATL, HAWREG, WCONUS)
