NOAA GOES SATOPS Morning Report – May 16, 2003 Day 136

OPS49 remains in nominal basic mode. 

49 17677 07 POGO-B 14:37 Failed Pogo-B experienced hardware problems just before rise, which
prevented them from being able to support this pass.  Boss-B was the only available site so the 48 31535 08

BOSS-B 14:46 was deleted and 49 added.  All of the smooth data was recovered as well 

All other DMSP operations were nominal over the past 24 hours. 

POES 

N-11 SBUV testing continues. 

All POES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours. 

GOES 

GOES-8 continues its westward drift at 1.06 deg/day. 

GOES-9 0115Z conducted sounder transmitter test with Fairbanks. 

GOES-9 0124Z  image missed.  Schedule was not executed in time after sounder transmitter test because of receiving data dropouts. 

All GOES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
