GOES

At 1410z on June 27, a GOES-11 magnetic torquer #1 and #2 interaction test was conducted.  This test will be repeated today due to elevated solar activity on Friday.

At 0132z on June 29, a GOES-12 imager frame break was observed and attributed to high BER (thunderstorms)

At 0002z on June 30, a GOES-9 imager frame break was observed and attributed to RFI (potential radiosonde interference).

GOES-11 will execute an east/west maneuver today to eliminate residual drift from the annual inclination change maneuver from last week.  Tomorrow night, GOES-11 will be returned to Z-Axis precession storage mode, where it will stay until next summer.

GOES-8 continues its westward drift at 1.06 deg/day. The drift table with the estimated current position can be found at http://www.oso.noaa.gov/goes/GOES-8_Drift_Table.txt.
