SATOPS MORNING REPORT – January 4, 2001

POES

No change in the status of the POES spacecraft.

POES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.

DMSP

No change in the status of the DMSP spacecraft.

OPS47 rev 29835 POGO at 0718Z on January 4:  Category 1 data loss. 
Old orbital element set on Thule Tracking Station system caused problems
acquiring spacecraft.  All data recovered on following revs, but CAT
1 timelines not met.

DMSP operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.

GOES

No change in the status of the GOES spacecraft.

At 0904Z on January 4:  GOES-8 image frame break due to high bit
error rate at CDA.

GOES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
