NOAA GOES SATOPS Morning Report 4 Apr 2001
SATOPS MORNING REPORT – April 4, 2001
No significant effects noted on any spacecraft from continued elevated
solar/geomagnetic activity. All observed effects have
been noted in the past and have not resulted in adverse conditions
on the spacecraft. Additional information on the current

POES
No change in the status of the POES spacecraft; see NOAA-11 SBUV change
below.
The NOAA-11 SBUV grating drive is operating in the the total ozone
measurement region (-320 to -699). It will operate in
this region until further notice. It is hoped that this region
will remain agreeable to this 12 year old instrument.
NOAA-16 rev 02738 / F at 1352Z on April 3: Executed Command Procedure
per SCP to dump memory words from CPU1
to verify state (in anticipation of upcoming software load).
Frame Sync Final Acceptance Testing Phase 3 continues as per procedure.
POES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
DMSP
No change in the status of the DMSP spacecraft.
DMSP operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
GOES
No change in the status of the GOES spacecraft.
All eclipse operations nominal. No frame breaks noted.
