SATOPS MORNING REPORT – February 16, 2001
POES
No change in the status of the POES spacecraft.
Today, at approximately 1939Z, engineers are planning to briefly re-enable
rephasing on the NOAA-15 MIRP to temporarily re-synchronize AVHRR data
to the MIRP. This action will briefly affect operational products
and has been coordinated with OSDPD.
POES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
DMSP
No change in the status of the DMSP spacecraft.
DMSP operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
GOES
No change in the status of the GOES spacecraft.
Battery reconditioning activities continue.
From 1355Z to 1526Z, “26M” antenna testing took place successfully with
NASA/DSN Goldstone utilizing GOES-11.
GOES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
