NOAA GOES SATOPS Morning Report 14 Dec 2000

SATOPS Morning Report – December 14, 2000

POES

No change in the status of the POES spacecraft.

NOAA-15 rev 13438/W at 1235Z on December 13:  G2A noisy from the
spacecraft with 90.7% of the expected data received.  100% of the
data was recovered on the next pass.

NOAA-16 rev 1174/F at 1611Z on December 13:  IMUX failed to record
any data during the pass; reason unknown.

DMSP

No change in the status of the DMSP spacecraft.

DMSP operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.

GOES

No change in the status of the GOES spacecraft.

GOES-8 frame break occurred at 1740Z due to loss of signal synchronization
at Wallops CDA.

GOES-10 frame breaks occurred at 1325Z due to address phasing error,
and at 1908Z due to high bit error rate.

GOES operations were nominal over the past 24 hours.
