SMOKE TRANSPORTED OVER ATLANTIC OCEAN FROM FIRES IN EASTERN RUSSIA

Smoke is visible across parts of eastern Canada streaming out over the Atlantic Ocean in this
GOES-12 image. The smoke (indicated by the yellow arrows) has been transported across the Pacific
Ocean from fires burning in eastern Russia.
