FIRES IN ARIZONA

Heat signatures (red) and smoke (light blue haze) are visible from fires burning in Arizona in this

NOAA-15 image. The pink areas visible in this image are due to solar heating of the ground surface.

TROPICAL STORM 02E (BLANCA)

Tropical Storm 02E (Blanca) was located over the Eastern Pacific Ocean near 15.7N 105.7W at

06:00 UTC.Blanca has been moving westward at 06 knots with maximum sustained winds estimated at

35 knots, gusts to 45 knots
