This National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Research Announcement (NRA), entitled Engagement Opportunities in NASA STEM (EONS) – 2020, solicits proposals for competitive funding opportunities in support of Teams Engaging Affiliated Museums and Informal Institutions (TEAM II) administered by NASA’s Office of STEM Engagement. EONS 2020 is an omnibus announcement that includes a wide range of NASA science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) Engagement opportunities for basic and applied science and technology research and education. Specific opportunities will be issued periodically throughout the year as Appendices to this solicitation with individual requirements and milestones.

A new appendix is now available:

APPENDIX K: TEAM II Remote Opportunity Rapid Response (TEAMII-RORR)

Proposals Due August 13, 2020

Eligible proposers include U.S. non-profit science museums, planetariums, youth-serving organizations, and libraries. This is a one-time opportunity with a shorted response period. Proposed projects shall offer innovative remote or distance-learning opportunities, capable of reaching a diverse set of students in grades K-12 with relevant NASA content during the 2020-2021 school year and/or summer 2021 and continuing beyond. Projects will be designed to have specific focus on underserved and/or underrepresented students in STEM and helping to minimize the inequities faced by communities without ready access to information and communication technology.  Awards will range from $100k-$175k for a maximum duration of one year.
