Mike Kronmiller, Kathmandu, Nepal: Day 5 was a was extremely fun! I had the opportunity to present to my youngest audience, 8 year old 3rd graders. While presenting at Kanjirowa, the head of a primary school in Kathmandu offered to let me take about drones to 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. I happily accepted and had a wonderful time taking to the students about drones. The asked great questions about the applications of drones and how they can begin learning about them.

After that I went to Kanjirowa school and worked closely with the students and Teacher in the STEM club. I learned a lot about changes we need to make in order for the students to learn more completely about the drone construction process. While there the students nearly completed one of their drones! They have six kits total and I believe they will quickly complete the basics to move onto applications like delivery, avalanche rescue, and racing.

Finally pending proper approval I am preparing to fly at mount Everest Friday!
