National Academies’ Solar and Space Physics Decadal Survey: Call for Nominations

The third National Academies’ Decadal Survey for Solar and Space Physics (Heliophysics) is underway. The survey will present a prioritized research strategy to advance scientific understanding of the Sun, space weather, the Sun’s interactions with other bodies in the solar system, and the interplanetary and interstellar medium. The survey will also assess the health and vitality of the profession.

The National Academies will appoint approximately 100 community members to serve on the steering committee or one of its panels, and many more will participate via white paper submissions and outreach events.  We encourage you to nominate yourself or a colleague using this form.  Nominations should be received by May 3, 2022.
