Description
NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Construction Services at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility located in Wallops Island, VA. The government anticipates awarding a Multiple Award Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The anticipated maximum ordering value for the Wallops Multiple Award Construction (WMAC) contract will be $42M. The order of magnitude for this procurement will be established on an individual delivery order basis.
This procurement is a total 8(a)set-aside to small business concerns expressly certified by the Small Business Administration in the SBA’s 8(a) program.
The NAICS Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 236220 and $33.5M, respectively.
The anticipated release date of the Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP] is on or about December 20, 2013, with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about January 13, 2014. The anticipated award date is on or about January 23, 2015. The firm date for receipt of bids or proposals will be stated in the RFP.
All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
