NASA: Upcoming Mandatory NOI Due Date for E.10 Lunar Explorer Instrument for Space Biology Applications

Reminder: ROSES-2021 Amendment 21 releases final text and due dates for E.10 Lunar Explorer Instrument for Space Biology Applications (LEIA) which was previously released as draft for community comment:

Mandatory NOIs are due June 7, 2021

Proposals are due July 16, 2021.

E.10 LEIA  is intended to solicit ground-based proposals for an autonomous biological research experiment using yeast as a model organism to be integrated into the Biosensor hardware and tested for hardware biocompatibility. This is to establish a functional experimental payload that is flight ready. This opportunity is not meant to encompass the spaceflight, only to prepare the investigation for future flight opportunities.
