Description
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Stennis Space Center (SSC) Acquisition Management Office is hosting an Industry Day and Small Business Expo on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at Casino Magic in Bay St. Louis, MS. The purpose of this conference is to provide industry, particularly small businesses, with an opportunity to network and learn about Stennis Space Center, NASA Programs, and to meet with Government and Industry personnel who can assist them in their endeavors to obtain business opportunities at the facility. There is no cost for attending this event. SSC would like to personally invite you to attend this event to learn about NASA and the resident agencies at Stennis Space Center. You will find that Stennis Space Center is unique among all NASA Centers, as it affords business opportunities with NASA, the Department of Defense, and other federal, state, and commercial organizations. The agenda for the event is designed to maximize opportunities for networking with local Government and Industry representatives and determine business opportunities both now and in the future as the Center continues to grow. Mississippi 4th District Congressman Gene Taylor (http://www.house.gov/genetaylor/) is scheduled to speak briefly in the morning, as is Rear Admiral Thomas Q. Donaldson, V, USN (Ret.), Director, NASA Stennis Space Center. Exhibits from NASA/SSC organizations and resident agencies will be displayed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please note that registration is free and requested no later than August 10, 2003. As space is limited, please go to http://sscinfo.ssc.nasa.gov/industryday/ and register early to ensure your acceptance to the conference. Questions about the conference may be submitted via email at SSC-SBS@ssc.nasa.gov.
